Fried Italian Turkey Nuggets
Featuring a zesty Italian flavor, this is the perfect dish to celebrate a successful spring hunt.
Ingredients
1 whole turkey breast
16 oz. bottle of zesty Italian dressing
1 packet of dry Lipton onion soup mix
3 cups of flour
Large bottle of oil for frying
Salt to taste
Instructions
Cut one whole turkey breast into small nugget-sized pieces or strips.
In a large bowl with lid, thoroughly mix the cut turkey breast, Italian dressing, and onion soup mix. Place the lid on and marinate for 24 hours.
Place flour or your favorite frying batter in a bowl with lid.
Place marinated turkey nuggets in the flour. Place lid and shake until turkey is thoroughly covered with flour.
Heat deep fryer to 350 degrees, and fry until turkey nuggets are golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy.
