Best Wader
"I guided waterfowl over 90 days this season. All but a few goose hunts were spent in the Chene S2 wader. Previous to using Chene waders I tried just about every brand including the highest end competitor. I had never been able to get a full season out of a pair of waders until I wore these! Almost a good wader
"While I have come to accept the price of designer waders these days, I am disappointed by these waders. I not only hunt in these waders but also work in them a lot. I don’t understand why there aren’t knee pads. For a wader designed to hunt timber, it seems like a major flaw. Furthermore, expect for your legs to be abused if you have to bust through any sort of ice. Lastly, these aren’t chest waders, they are waist waders. If the water reaches the pockets (even zippered up) expect to get wet."

Great wader but could use some small changes
"My dad bought these for me as a Christmas present a couple years ago. They are great waders overall, but there's a few things that I'd like to see changed on them. First off, they are the most durable waders I've ever owned, and I've tried just about all of them. The boot fits pretty well, but it would be nice if they could take some weight off of them. They are a little on the heavy side, but it's not too bad. The main issue I have with them is that they ride up in the crotch area pretty bad. I have the shoulder straps on the last loop and it still seems to pull them up in the crotch. I've even gone as for as to cut the shoulder straps and added in some small pieces of elastic to add a little length and stretch. This helped a little, but I don't think I added enough elastic. I don't know if full elastic straps would completely solve the problem, but it would be a good start. If it weren't for them riding up in the crotch they'd be by far my favorite waders. As they are now I find myself grabbing my sitka waders more often for the comfort, but I always grab my Chenes when I'm hunting in an area where I need more durable waders. Also, the customer service is definitely the best out of all the wader brands."

Richard Barnhill ( Chest Waders)
"I duck hunt most of the days during a 60 day season. I hunt mostly out of blinds but a lot of wading in the decoy spreads and walking to and from the blinds. I have been wearing waders for over 35 years and Chene waders are my Top Choice when it comes to waders. They are the best waders that I have ever hunted out of. The boot is extremely warm and super comfortable. The wader’s are comfortable, easy to put on and off, durable, no shoulder or back fatigue after hunting all day. I can’t say enough good things about these waders except I really like everything about my waders and I hope to continue with these waders as long as I am able to continue to duck hunt. Which I hope is many years to come."

Always exceeding expectations
"Customer service was great, I dropped of my waders after season for boot replacement. They got lost somehow and when I called to check on the progress I had new pair overnighted and at my door the next day"

Excellent product
"Pricey as they are, if they gotten stolen I would purchase another pair immediately. Mind blowing there difference between Chene and other brands."

Blast from the Past
"The comfort level of the waders is exceptional. Having duck hunted over 50 years, it was very different to go back to uninsulated waders but the fit and mobility were definitely worth it. The Chene videos on how to clean the zipper and dress with fleece lined wader pants and layering in different weather conditions was very helpful."

customer for life
"Lifelong hunter from South Louisiana, always thought people were insane to pay for such waders. Swore I would never pay that much for waders much less waders with a zipper. I attended a Ducks Unlimited banquet and won a pair, wore for 1 1/2 duck seasons, the boots began leaking two weeks ago. The customer support team was insanely polite and accommodating. Warrantied the waders without question. I just finished ordering a pair of bibs and a few other items, Chene has a customer for life based on the comfort, durability and most importantly that little thing called customer service most companies have forgotten about."
