Sole Wear

"I have been wearing the boot at my office job for 2-3 weeks now and I am already noticing slight wear on the tread portion of the sole. It is a super comfortable boot and the sole isn’t much but considering the time I’ve worn them it is concerning. Also in wet conditions the grip is less than desired so I am worried with wear on the sole they will become unwearable in wet conditions. Great leather and a great insole but the material or design of the tread I think should be looked into to get more grip as well as more endurance."

Not for everyday use

"Initially this boot was great and if you were going to wear it once every so often it’s a good boot to have. But do not buy it for an everyday wear boot. I’ve had mine and wear them to work (office job not very heavy use). After 4 months of having them the bottoms are so slick you cannot walk around any water without slipping. Boots are comfortable and fit well but a boot should last longer than 4 months."

Slipping Hazard

"Very comfortable boot new; however, they wore out really quick. I do not recommend them as a work boot as they are slick and dangerous in water. I would by another set if the hazard issue with them being slick was resolved."

"Most comfortable boot I’ve had for work, only downside is the sole life, fix the soles to last longer than 4 months of everyday use and they are the perfect boot."

Good, but not the wear out i was hoping

"Loved them until I found out the hard way they dont tread well on slick surfaces after good use. I thought my post would be holds up well, and good general purpose boot. After 5 months I have worn the grip texture off and had a slip fall on wet concrete. That resulted fairly bad."

"I love my Grove boots they are good looking, durable and I’ve received a lot of compliments on how they look and lots of questions on how they feel and how long it took to break them in? Honestly they were perfect right out of the box!I have nothing but positive things to say about the Grove boot. I’m so glad I made the purchase I’ve even considered buying a second pair just to have for nice and then the other pair for in the field I’ll let you know."
