"I had only had these boots for about a month when they accidently got cut open. I loved them and how comfortable and light they were for a leather boot. Chene's great customer service worked with me to replace the pair and I have been using them since and still love the comfort and weight."
"These wear better by the day after a month or so. Soles are soft and cushioned but do offer a bit of a slip hazard on wet or slick surfaces. Love the fit. Will buy again for sure."

"I want to like these. . . but the fit is no good. They're hard to get in, and then when they're on, my feet slide with every step. I've tried an extra insole with marginal improvement. I'd try to size down for better fit while wearing, but there's no way I'd get the boot on. Would like to return but I'm out of the window."

"I love the look of these boots and everything Chene has ever produced as been awesome except this boot. I usually wear between a 12. 5 and 13. Ordered the 12. 5 and could not get my foot in them. Gave them to a friend rather than return. Ordered the 13 and same problem. I have worn cowboy type boots my entire live and never had this problem. Donated the 13 to Nearly New now two pairs of boots in and could not get my foot in either. Leather feels great, sole looks bomber just upper is built really tight. Hope there is a redesign in the future."
