Put them through it

"First day wearing them, inch of ice on the water. Was breaking the ice sheets and sliding them under each other with these gloves on. Solo hunt so it took a while. Water never got in them and they were warm the entire time. They held up and would recommend."

Don’t buy

"These gloves aren’t warm. Wore them in temps from 5-20 degrees and they perform worse then insulated work gloves. Reached out to customer service before writing review, was told they would not return worn gear. I won’t be buying anymore Chene gear."

Performance gloves

"Really liked them just thought the fingers were little thick or big and had issues using my hands while picking up my decoys. Other than that I really like them and glad I bought them. Keep up the great innovations!!"

Shawn L. (5/5)

Heavy duty

"These feel like they are made to last, nothing feel's cheap about them, I love the grip, wet gun and wet decoys there is no issue"

Austin C. (5/5)

NOT WATERPROOF

"NOT WATERPROOF. The only way to test them, is to wear them. Once worn, you cannot return or get a refund. Don’t waste your money."

Maybe water resistant - not water proof

"Just got a pair and my initial impression of them was good. Fit/dexterity was good and they felt like they would be pretty warm. The price of these was also reasonable in my opinion. I didn’t plan on using them as decoy gloves, but I figured I would put them to the water bucket test by quickly dunking my hands repeatedly to see how they hold up to serious water exposure. Unfortunately, within a few minutes, I already had significant water soakage into the fingers of the right hand glove. The water never came above the cuff of the gloves. I didn’t seem to have any serious soakage with the left hand glove, which is odd. I personally don’t believe any fabric gloves are truly waterproof, but I was expecting these to hold out water a little longer than they did. PVC/rubber seems to be the only glove material that is 100% waterproof and they are a fraction of the price of these. I’m a little disappointed because I really like Chene and these gloves, but the pair I have is not going to hold up to any serious water exposure. If Chene wants to send me another pair to try, I will gladly update this review. Maybe I just got a bad right hand glove."
